Community and Family Services
In obedience to the greatest commandment given by Jesus Himself, Richmond Hill Community Church exists to love the Lord our God with the whole of our lives and to love our neighbour as ourselves.
We live out our commitment to love our neighbour by:
-Assisting families with basic life needs such as food and clothing (Daily
-Providing pastoral care and spiritual guidance (Daily)
-Advocating and supporting families through crisis (Daily)
-Referring individuals to community agencies (Daily)
-Back to School Backpack Program (Annually)
-Assisting families with food and toys at Christmas (Annually)
-Sponsoring children to attend summer camps (Annually)
Take-a-Break - Wednesdays 10:00am to 12:00pm
Take-a-break provides an opportunity for community women and their children to gather for friendship, fun, education, discovery of community supports and spiritual care. Take-a-Break is a vibrant group of women of different ages and cultural backgrounds seeking to connect for encouragement and friendship.
Ladies Bible Study - Wednesdays 12:00pm to 1:00pm
Women are welcomed to join the Bible Study for spiritual enrichment.
Christmas Kettle Program
Every year RHCC participates in raising funds to support our Community Ministry programs. Volunteers are needed to staff the Salvation Army Christmas kettles during the latter half of November and the month of December.

Christmas Toy Warehouse
Volunteers are needed every year to assist with packing hampers, helping at our Christmas Toy Distribution Centre.
